Simple and Frugal Personal Care Products

Post by Hazelbird »

I hadn't considered that personal care products would be a problem! This MC stuff has many layers, doesn't it?!

For years I've been simple and frugal and have used only the following. Please tell me if any of these might be an issue.

1. Plain glycerin soap. Cakes bought at Barn Barn in Canada.

2. Dr Bronner's Pure Castille Soap, Baby Unscented, liquid. Diluted 1/4 soap, 3/4 water.

3. Baking soda as a shampoo and apple cider vinegar as a rinse.

4. Coconut oil as a moisturizer and lip balm.

4. Homemade deodorant with baking soda, coconut oil, arrowroot powder, tea tree oil.

5. Badger sunscreen, SPF 30, unscented, certified 98% natural ingredients, with zinc oxide.

6. No makeup! And I'm 66!

looks pretty good to me, but i am not familiar with some of the products (as i am in Australia)

The main enemy in most personal care products is soy, but at this stage you dont believe soy to be an issue so I dont foresee any issues.

Good! Thank you! I don't think I could get any plainer or more minimal than this!
