Arthritis Symptoms From Food Sensitivities

Post by tex »

Do you have either osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis-like symptoms associated with your MC? Do they sometimes occur without gastrointestinal symptoms? If your diet is compromised, do your arthritis symptoms appear before or after your gastrointestinal symptoms?

Please select the best option to describe your situation in this poll.

If I recall correctly, my arthritis symptoms show after my gastrointestinal symptoms flare. But they have become worse over the years...I may be developing a new autoimmune condition now.

Thanks for sharing, Sarah,

It looks like the new updated version of the board wiped out my survey, unfortunately.

Back when my symptoms were still untreated, the arthritis pain in both of my knees was so bad 20 years ago that some days I could barely get around using 2 canes. After I changed my diet, all the symptoms went away, and I've never needed a cane since (I'm 79 now). It's very likely that your arthritis pain is strictly from the leaky gut that develops when MC is active, because leaky gut becomes worse as time passes.
