I've found that my flares these days don't keep me down long.........mostly I just need time in the morning to empty the bowels and once empty, I'm good to go..............but then I don't eat any gluten, dairy, or soy on purpose either, so my flares are brought on by something new I've introduced that my body didn't like or stress..................and mainly stress these days..............am working on that! :)

And to add to that, the symptoms of adrenal fatigue are virtually identical to the symptoms of magnesium deficiency, causing me to speculate that the medical community probably just doesn't realize that adrenal fatigue is a symptom of a chronic magnesium deficiency. The medical community is notorious for failing to recognize the symptoms of magnesium deficiency and magnesium deficiency is extremely common with IBDs.

I don't doubt that, because when a syndrome/disease such as adrenal fatigue develops, it often leads to other issues that may also need to be resolved. IOW, a cascade of secondary events may be involved.

As an example, consider the fact that MC is typically not initially caused by food sensitivities. It may be caused by severe chronic stress, ending a long-term smoking habit, a drug, an infection, or whatever. But after the syndrome/disease is triggered, the inflammation causes a leaky gut that leads to food sensitivities that have to be resolved in order to bring remission from MC symptoms.
