Hi David,

That's typical when MC is active. It means your intestines are still inflamed and as long as they are inflamed digestion of some foods will be incomplete. We cannot digest raw vegetables properly when our intestines are inflamed. That's why we overcook them, to make them easier to digest.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Hi David,

I agree with Tex. I had that problem with carrots and other foods. I then started cooking them to make them soft, and the issue went away.

Please check my original post when you catch time, I put some questions there
Thx for reply.

Im not officially diagnose with it, we can only assume it since symptoms are very similar to mc.

David
inflammation is inflammation whether it be MC, UC, Crohns, IBS, Mast Cells issues etc.
and raw vegetables /too much fibre will cause issues for ALL gut issues.
(just like GLuten and dairy etc cause major inflammation for everybody not just those with diagnosed gut issues)
