Toxic Free, GF, SF make up!

Post by Vanessa »

Hey Guys,

Now that my life is back to "normal" I want to go out and do things again! I used to love make up and of course had to switch that routine up. I've been using Suzanne Somers make up line for a couple years now. Its the only brand I found I could trust. Its O.K. I don't love it. I found another company called Afterglow Cosmetics. They do list Rosemary Extract and Vitamin E in most products. I emailed the company about this to see what they say. I ordered a few items and will report back with a review....

Hi, Vanessa. Glad you're back to normal! I don't know what brand of make-up to use, either so I'm interested once you hear back from Afterglow. The other week I bought a tube of Revlon lipstick that was on clearance at my grocery store. I put a little on because I haven't used lipstick in ages. Then it hit me - oh my goodness, what if it contains gluten? Luckily it didn't, but I learned a lesson. I'll never try something without checking the ingredients first!

Down load the gluten free scanner app. It will inform you by scanning the bar code if an item contains gluten. There is a free version, but for $3.99 the upgraded version will suggest alternatives.
