Is here anyone who had their amalgam removed?:=)
Like a topic name says are there?
Im plaining to remove my 4 amalgam filings and have 2 tooth root healing, it costs but ill earn some money.
I was wondering what chemicals are the safest, obviously better than amalgam ofc.
I was reading topics and havent found anything on this specific topic, there are 2-3 but it doesnt mention ingredients.
My dentist would use these:
https://www.ultradent.com/en-us/Dental- ... fault.aspx
and composite http://www.bisco.com/all-bond-universal-/
Thanks All, cheers

Thanks for the wind in back Erica, i apprecciate that.
I assume composites are "healthyer" or even less toxic than amalgam fillings,
but you know there are,( im missing the word right now), controversies or opinions all over the world about everything we put in our system, we must have our common sense turned on when things like this come in way.
I came to info that not all composit fillings contains Bpa- Bisphenol A, so thats good sign.

Sadly there is no perfect dental material, they all have pro's and con's
Dont feel in a rush to remove all the amalgam (especially if the tooth/filling is ok). it is not the only source of mercury in our lives.
for me I react worse to the anesthetic - and take extra P5P (active form of B6) and active B12 before the procedure and additional magnesium Vit D3 etc after to help the nervous system etc recover. Schedule the appointments later in the week so you have the weekend to recover. Dont have the next procedure until you are recovered from the first.
not so long ago, I had two procedures within 4 weeks of each other. It took me 6 weeks to recover from the second one as I as a bit run down, and had the procedures too close together

Yes Gabes I read about that, increased levels of mercury 10mins after removing, amalgam is from tissues in body not from removing from tooth, it last From 48 h to 3 months i cant remember now, if you want i can link you article.
im plaining to remove one each month, thas ok I think.
2 upper 6 position are ok but there are huge filling of amalgam which i carry from when i was 10-12 years old, i want that ones nicely done in private dentist with root canal healing.
And 4 more are in good shape but i want it removed, it scares me fact that is elemental mercury in it.

I think that is huge, direct source of mercury in body, on daily basis, fish is too, dont know for other but, these 2 we can easily remove.Gabes-Apg wrote:Sadly there is no perfect dental material, they all have pro's and con's

vaccines
latex paint
pollution (fossil fuel burning and gold mining)
pesticides used on vegetable crops
inherited mercury - mercury has a half life of 444 years!!
so if any of your ancestors had contact with high level sources then you would have inherited mercury from them

a quick google search and doing some reading - if you have had flu vaccine in the past 15 years - this would have contained more mercury than what you would absorb from the amalgam filling.
we cant avoid every trigger / toxin. the best way to approach it is to ensure our body's detox process (methylation cycle, healthy gut with minimal inflammation etc) is operating optimally to clear the toxins.

My grand grand parents are from rural place, grand parents too, parents too, by rural I mean 5-25 houses in village, all organic, parents came to live in city 80 kms from their village, in their 20s, they all lived from organic meat, vegetables and fruits, nuts, everything they could, so I doubt it.
Im living in small town with cca 100 000 people, there are no factorys, or any other source of gas,
It is by the sea, so its pretty clear environment.
Also im eating only small fresh fish.
Vaccines - yea, that's huge one to discuss, we are all poisoned by that and it's gambling with health.

Isn't the body doing detox all the time?

Mercury was used in paint from as early as ancient romans until about 1991 it was phased out, wood burning has some mercury content but given the history of your family the exposure was fairly low.
good that you are in low pollution area and have not had flu vaccines.
