It is a regular pattern when I flare. I was great for 2 to 2 1/2 years( no D), just taking out Gluten and eggs, just like entrolab said. But like Gabes said, things change over time.

Yes they do. Two and a half years ago I had a reaction to peanuts, so I ordered an EnteroLab test to check soy, and sure enough, I am now sensitive to soy, even though I have been avoiding soy except for trace amounts — but I had not been avoiding peanuts, and peanuts are a legume. Apparently the peanuts were promoting an increased sensitivity to soy. Five or six years ago I tested negative to soy. The EnteroLab stool tests are still the most reliable way to get an accurate assessment of our sensitivities. They eliminate guesswork.

Thanks, but that doesn't appear to be the post I was thinking about. But I still haven't found it, either. Wherever it is, as I recall, it actually included a recommendation for a specific ground turkey product. Or was I dreaming that I thought I saw such a post?

And as I mentioned earlier in the discussion, by not taking Vit D3 and magnesium, then you are more likely to react to these ingredients.

I read through the thread that was Linked by Gabes, and I thought she linked a couple of places online that you could order Ground Turkey, I must have read too fast and been Mistaken.

I never had to take them before, when I went into remission,the first time. So I am still learning. I am a guy, and I fight any change.

After I read the thread you linked, I went to Whole Foods, and they have No Ground Turkey without Rosemary Extract. I even asked the Meat guy. They do have Ground Pork, though.

This may sound weird to MCers. But I had no D today. Of course I went back to my old diet. Meaning I took out the sweet potatoes, apples and bananas. And added my whey/casein protein mix, my GF oatmeal with blueberries, my greek yogurt, and coffee with splenda and coconut milk. Still ate the Ground turkey and rice, as my Main meals.

I figure the best way to fix myself, is to take the entrolab test again.

For some of us casein is constipating (rather than causing D). It is for me, for example (or at least it used to be, back when I still ate it). I agree that the stool tests may be your best bet.

I understand where you are coming from. When I got my diagnosis in 2011 I just did the Enterolab test which let me know I needed to cut out gluten/dairy and soy. Did Entocort for 3 months, cut that stuff out of my life and did well for a few years...couple ups and downs but got on with life as I knew it.

But something just wasn't right and I tried cutting things out/trying the antihistimines, blah blah blah..Went off the tracks with my husbands death almost a year ago and finally did the next Enterolab panel in July which showed I react to ALL of it..All 2+ except rice 3+. Well, that was an eye opener since I was living off rice, potatoes, sweet potatoes and chicken. React to nightshades also..

So, there you go. Think you might need to do more testing. I'm better, really restricted eating now. Not sure what/if I will ever get to add back into my diet...really just doing lamb and turkey right now..have tried a few others but didn't go well. Am doing overcooked yellow/butternut squash/zucchini. Apple sauce, overcooked sweet potatoes, a banana, avocado..canned peaches/pears. Sunflower butter seems ok. Water and tea. Initially tested ok for eggs in 2011 but have cut those out too. Haven't weighed myself in a month as it scared my at my PCP's then when they told me I weighed 114# with my work clothes and shoes on. Feel good at 123# normally.

Just got crazy on a Friday night and drank about 3/4 cup of coconut milk. Wild and crazy woman I am. We will see how that settles, I am just scraping for fat/calories at this point. I buy my lamb and lamb bones (bone broth also in that diet) at Whole Foods. Think the butcher there thinks I am a nut or something..
