Sure don’t need much convincing to delay the ReMag for awhile.

For consistency I’ve always fasted for at least 12 hours before all scheduled blood tests. I’d only have eaten if there was an unexpected draw after an afternoon appointment. However I’ve been taking large amounts of mag for years and rarely miss a day because of the consequences, so it seems like I shouldn’t be that depleted for labs, after less than 24 hours without any.

I also have very low triglycerides which apparently is also inconsistent with Hashimoto’s among other things. There are a few other uncharacteristic (but repetitive) results that I also have questions about, but first things first.

I haven’t felt this good in a month or two probably longer—so thanks again.

I would think that normally, about 12 hours or so should be sufficient for serum magnesium levels to stabilize after taking the last supplement dose.

Low triglycerides is also inconsistent with magnesium deficiency, so you apparently have something more complex going on.

But never look a gift horse in the mouth. If your body says it's feeling good, then it's there's little point in arguing with it.
