Freezing drizzle
Sil and BIL came by abit ago....they tried to go to Abilene about 36 mi away to get a new sink for thier bathroom....they saw a toyota tundra in the ditch and realized that there was Ice On the road. Actually it's freezing drizzle all over the region. I was going to go to town to get a couple things we needed. But we don't need them that bad. I kept smellinf something burnt.....Jasmine has sucked up to the heater on the floor and may have singed her furr. I'll have to get off here and check her out. Silly dog. She has no hair on her tummy at all. Love Oma

BRRRRR
We're having a bit of freezing weather too. Also very windy so that makes it even colder. I went out and covered all my plants on the patio because they are starting to sprout and don't want them to go into shock. I got John to bring some cardboard boxes for me and I put those over and weighted them down and put them right next to the wall to get the least wind. My climatus are already sprouted up about 8 inches because we had such a warm January, also the pansy geraniums, primulas, mums are all showing new growth. Anyway, I hope I saved them. The weatherman predicts we may even have a little bit of snow on Thursday. I guess Old Man Winter wanted to remind us he's still around. We were getting pretty smug here in BC with all our flowers coming up. Crocuses are already open and daffodils ready to open any day. This weather could be disastrous for them.
Anyway, Oma - bundle up and stay warm. That's what I'm doing.

Hi Oma,
We're having freezing drizzle/light rain here right now, too. The last time I checked, it was 26 degrees. When I drove home a little while ago, the roads were still ok, but I had to run the defroster almost wide open to keep the windshield clear.
I think I'll stay home tomorrow.
Love,
Wayne

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
