So, trying to add more calories into my life...seems like all common nuts for "butters" I react to...(ya, know that pistachio wasn't tested...). I seem to be tolerating sunflower seed butter. Was wondering if anyone has tried pumpkin seed butter and/or tahini (sesame seeds). Have purchased both, just haven't tried them. Haven't made my own pistachio butter though I do have pistachios around that my brother snacks on that I could use I guess...Thoughts??

Re: Seed butters...
I tolerate almond butter in small doses (no more than 2 teaspoons a day). Hope that helps, and I'm interested in hearing what others have experienced as I too am eager to introduce nut butters into my diet.HockeyMom wrote:So, trying to add more calories into my life...seems like all common nuts for "butters" I react to...(ya, know that pistachio wasn't tested...).
