Grateful
Ya know , I woke up this am thinking how lucky I was to have a roof over my head and food to eat. Even tho I have some real serious money issues going on...I feel that there are people out there far worse off than I. Yes I am scared about paying the electric and the insurance and all that....but it will all even out, I will get a job, and My husband will have some pressure taken off him. In all this I have failed to recognise him. He has done all he can....took are of me when I couldn't after the surgery, cooked cleaned and worried after he worked all day. And shouldered all this with out a word to me. All of you have listened to my whining and only gave help and words of incouragement. I love all of you for that. Thank you all. I am Blessed. Love Oma
May I be more compassionate and loving than yeterday*and be able to spot the idiots in advance
Morning Oma,
We are all blessed that you are a part of our family. You are an inspiration, and we've learned a lot from you about the true meaning of life, and especially how to cope with adversity.
I hope that things continue to improve in your life, and that your problems eventually all disappear.
Love,
Wayne

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Oma, you are one Grand Lady and not the only one on this board either. I'd say we have been blessed with more than our share, and I am thankful for each and every one of you.
Love, Shirley
And after reading that I have to add that our quota of Grand Gents has been exceeded also!!!

Collected this little poem somewhere, can't remember where, but I think it sums the people on our board up. We are all there for each other. You are a kind and thoughtful lady and one that I am proud to call my friend.
A friend is someone we turn to
When our spirits need a lift,
A friend is someone we treasure
For our friendship is a gift,
A friend is someone who fills our lives
With beauty, joy, and grace
And makes the world we live in
A better and happier place.
Oma I know what you mean about not not really seeming to recognise what our men do for us when we are ill or incapacitated in some way. Don't know what we would do without them at times. Robert has done, and continues to do so much to help me and I really appreciate it but sometimes forget to tell him that. Going to do that right now.
love
