Heart monitor update
So got a call from PCP's office today about the month long heart monitor results.. they want to refer me to their cardiologist (it's one of those huge systems..) as it showed that I have "premature atrial tachycardia, and atrial tachycardia".
I know that you all have said that your heart rate/other heart issues have settled down once your magnesium levels came up. I must admit I feel better and am sleeping better...as in I get to sleep now...still wake up early but not sure that will change. Heart rate seems to have come down some but still is elevated... BUT, all that said...I think I still feel pretty edgy (which is not the normal me..), and I feel like I just can't get things to "settle down/calm down" alot of times... I've been blaming all this on just not feeling great in general....maybe this is part of the problem??
I've been doing alot of magnesium...think maybe I will drop the 100 mg mag glycinate as I think something is making me just a little funky. Do like 360 of spray, unknown amount of lotion and maybe 200+ with ReMag. Plus the sunflower butter is maybe another 60 mg or so a day. Can up the topicals and try the glycinate later on down the road... I know my Vitamin D level is good, not sure how long it takes the Magnesium thing to get better.
Thoughts, experiences?? I definitely will go talk to them. Anyone have the same thing that went away?? Really don't think this was an issue until like late December or January.
Oh, and lastly. I know you've mentioned this Tex...but I have started eating some Jennie O turkey bacon again..looked at it and it had the "rosemary extract in it". Wrote the company and basically since the soy oil is highly refined it doesn't contain any proteins so they don't list it as a soy allergen. So, yes or no?? Depends?? Thought I had really looked at everything!!!

I would get a for certain reading on your D levels - are you taking at least 5000 mg a day....and I would stay the course with Magnesium and up it...yes you heard right....UP the magnesium.
You are having a perfect storm with not enough magnesium to keep your heart rate level....don't get sucked in to more medication for your heart....UP the magnesium....I'm very serious here...don't be afraid
I had heart palps a couple years ago before I understood what the combo D and Mag could do for me...unless you have been diagnosed with 2 heartbeats competing with each other that creates an episode where one of those electrical beats needs to be corrected have faith in the D and Mag protocol....

And yes...I won't drop down on the mag....just may drop the one Mag glycinate 100 mg that I have been taking....will up the oil and lotions instead!!! I won't be talked into a medication easily. Really think this is going in the right direction...just want some reassurance that it's something that can go away. Like I said, I didn't really notice this whole racing heart thing until like mid January or so...so I'm pretty sure that it isn't something that I've been dealing with for years or anything!!!

Did you select turkey bacon because you're sensitive to pork?

That's what the "experts" all claim, that refined soy bean oil is pure (free of proteins). But if that were really true, no one would react to it. Some people do indeed react to soy oil. Whether you react may depend on your degree of sensitivity to soy and your dose. a few years ago in my wellness journey I had tachycardia and blood pressure issues. of note at the same time i was having mega Gerd and histamine /mast cell issues.
I did start medication.
now 4-5 years later i have resolved magnesium deficiency, and the B6 deficiency, both of which were key managing histamine issues
I no longer have any tachycardia or blood pressure issues.
I am no doctor or scientist. there is a good chance that these symptoms are related to period of chronic inflammation and nutritional deficiencies. For now you may want to talk to the cardiologist, see what they say, consider medication to help your body during this time.

Yep, everything was in 2+ category, except rice 3+!!! Beef was the least reactive of the meats, I think chicken/tuna were the worst then pork. Had been doing some of the turkey bacon until past month or so, then have added it back in just needing a snack at work (that sounds wierd I know....but I am so limited right now..it's either that or sunflower butter!! Wait, I could slather the turkey bacon in sunflower butter..GENIUS!!! ).
I looked the atrial tachycardia/premature atrial tachycardia up Tex....hoping my case isn't too bad.. I'm a physical therapist...not a cardiologist!!! I mostly see pt's with a fib, or premature ventricular contractions...
So, I will see how that goes. I'm sure it will take me another week or so to get in there.

My blood pressure is fine, always has been. I'm not someone who checks my blood pressure or heart rate all the time, though I could working in a hospital!! I also carry my own little pulse ox with me to quick check my pt's O2 sats if needed when we are up moving around...easier for me to give the RN's quick numbers. It also gives you heart rate..
I used to give blood regularly so I know that my heart rate is baseline higher than most folks...used to kid people years ago that apparently I am a hummingbird!!! I will see what they have to say, see what sounds reasonable...

I have tried three products that have 'no soy allergens' due to this processing technique - I reacted to all of them.
One was a very expensive CoQ10 lingual spray - practitioner only product
the other aspect to bacon type products is that some are high in nitrates which can be an issue for some when they are flaring

That's how I discovered that my ticker was skipping beats. I decided to check my O2 saturation because of the bradycardia.
