Anyone with familliar situation?

Post by David22 »

This "situation" is bothering me a long time, but now I got oportunity to ask it here

So 2-3 years ago I started working out and tryed to gain weight by overeating and drinking protein shakes, that all went good way for 5-6 months, meantime i got hited by electricity and got some uneven heart beats - 3 secs max pause when sleeping which is now ok...its is functional rare disorter...doc says it was my
heart murmur which went that way, anyways after that electro shock all went good i could eat and drink everything...coffe and alcohol,, and then 3 months after that i started feeling weird from alcohol and coffe...one morning after i finished my oats and whey and coffe I got arytmia...after that i cannot tolerate nor coffy or alcohol.
I went trough lot stress trough that period to be honest... couldnt fell asleep calm for 1.5 year, i would wake up in panic like my heart will stop, lightheaded and confused trough day, got tired easy, palpitations...hell!

Now I got that weird feeling after few bananas.....like some adrenalin is flowing trough my chest? Histamine? Adrenals? I feel energized at same time..

histamine reaction coupled with adrenals - due to nutritional deficiencies

for the body to manage histamine levels you need magnesium and B6
Magnesium is also key for adrenals, calming and moderating heart rate

alcohol is a huge inflammatory item and interupts methyation cycle (which is key for the body to convert B6 to active form to be used in the body) coffee depletes magnesium

use lots of topical magnesium
take P5P (active form of B6) or even better take a combo of active B6, B9, B12 to support methylation cycle

Hmm is it possible that is due to high protein diet and whey? Plus stress?

histamine issues is very common with AI and non AI health issues -
excess histamine is excess inflammation

it depends on the ingredients of the protein shake.
But stress yes, as it depletes key nutrients

Hmmm i remember it was impact whey, but it was protein from milk, back then i could not see it bothers me. I would function pretty ok when i excluded coffy and alc. No symptoms, only due to heart but Thats normal.
Im little sorry about coffe and alcohol but it is irritant and dangerous now for colon, but it is what is.
Just trying to figure out what could cause that i couldnt drink half of half glass of it, and dizzyness would come asap...fast heartbeat etc...

So i could blame all on stress?
Question is a little more complicated, i could blame myself for acting on stresfull way etc...but that would went nowhere.
Luckily iI learned now how to deal with it.
it is not good or bad!

Maybe silly question but, could too much protein powder damage adrenal glands?

Wat are tests for adrenal glands?

dairy is highly inflammatory.

lots of ongoing inflammation (be it food, enviro triggers, stress etc) does multiple things
- causes leaky gut which means that toxins end up in the blood stream / joints
- leaky gut means we dont absorb nutrients from food as well
- nutrient deficiencies - which impacts every organ of the body including adrenals

once the cycle has 'started' all the issues feed off the others.

I can have small amount of black organic coffee each day.

Some articles that may help you

histamine and the nervous system
http://alisonvickery.com.au/histamine-nervous-system/

histamines and adrenal fatigue
https://www.drlam.com/blog/histamines-afs-part-1/5904/

allergies
https://adrenalfatigue.org/allergies/

of interest, in periods of my life when I was having lots of symptoms (gut, adrenal fatigue etc) but no conclusive Dx at that time, I was very allergic to banana's. To extent that i could not be a closed meeting room with people eating banana's or with banana skins in the bin etc. without getting swollen throat, itchy mouth etc. (I had major reaction to banana's as a kid)
Since fixing nutrient imbalances like the magnesium and B6, I can now handle banana's feed them to children etc.
the same for things like horses and cats, for first 44 years of my life I could not walk into a house with a cat or be down wind of a horse without having asthma, hives etc
now that i have got balanced histamines, I can pat them, hold them etc.

very unlikely that it on its own - coupled with other items that cause inflammation in the body, with stress and nutrient deficiencies then yes it could have been contributing.
hard to say definatively without looking at ALL the ingredients, and everything else you were eating and drinking at that period of your life

Wat are tests for adrenal glands?
mainstream medicine does not acknowledge adrenal fatigue, most functional doctors/practitioners have testing that they use.

I will try to come across nutritient label trough week or two, ill pm you if its ok.

Ill talk to my Gi about adrenals and histamine, so ill see what it says.

Reading trough forum i see that you have a number of health issues, but i see also you are coping with them very well, any advice will be appreciated about that too.

pretty much my wellness journey can be summed up via
- low inflammation eating plan and lifestyle
- fix nutrient deficiencies / imbalances (clear toxins)

I have had to make big changes with career, lifestyle, hobbies, eating plan etc to help my body heal.
I am trying to fix 44 plus years of inflammation, toxins and damage. I was born with gut issues, methylation issues, deficiencies and excess metals.
