Hi,
I've been searching here, but have been unable to find a name of a doctor who specializes in mast cell issues. I know I discussed this with Tex back in 2015, but have been unable to find that thread.
I thought the specialist was located in one of the Northeastern states.

I found her name - Mariana Castells at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA.
I know someone with LC who recently tried Allegra to see if mast cell issues were a problem for her. It's been less than a week and she is noticing improvements. She doesn't think taking Allegra forever is the answer. I agreed with her on that. I also told her about correcting any deficiencies she may have - emphasizing on Magnesium and the B's. From what I've been reading here, I am under the impression that correcting those deficiencies can possibly correct mast cell issues. Am I correct in assuming that?

Maybe, but that depends on a lot of things. To the best of my knowledge, Dr. Mariana Castells may be the foremost mastocytosis and MCAD authority in the world. But I believe that she is an allergist, not a gastroenterologist, though she has trained a few gastroenterologists.
