Possibly suffering from RA and LC
Saw my primary today. She believes I have rheumatoid arthritis as well as LC. I will need to see a rheumatologist. Does anyone have these same autoimmune diseases together? Very scared.

there are many here with multiple AI issues, such as RA.
what we have seen over the years is that following a low inflammation gut healing eating plan and lifestyle and correcting key nutrient deficiencies, you can resolve majority if not all of the symptoms of both of these issues.

removing major triggers from our eating plan and lifestyle, so the immune system is not so active... will make a huge differenceThe pain in the joints caused due to inflammation and swelling can be symptom of arthritis. Arthritis is a disorder of the joints which makes it difficult for the affected person to move around. Arthritis is of many types and the most common ones are osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.
Osteoarthritis usually occur aged people as the wear and tear of cartilage with age is the main cause for this condition. The rheumatoid arthritis is a type of autoimmune disease which occurs when the immune system of the body starts to attack its own cells and tissues.

Hey Ann:
I don't have RA, but I have celiac disease and LC. And I got a positive ASMA test which could indicate another problem, but I haven't followed up on it yet, got an appointment for June. I'm hoping that as my diet heals my LC that ASMA results will return to normal. I think that's happened for other people as well. It is scary. I feel your pain. Prayers and hugs.

Thanks Kelly. My thoughts and prayers are with you also. My primary examined my leg and didn't like the look of it. I informed her that I have difficulty writing, It looks like an old woman's scribble. She believes it is RA as I had 3 broken ribs back in October from wheeling my suit case through the airport. I was swarmed by social workers wanting to know if I was being abused by my husband, who is so kind and loving. I had blood drawn on Thursday to test for RA. She also drew blood to check for vitamin deficiencies at my request. Hoping for a positive outcome.

RA
I was diagnosed with RA last week. I have LC, MC unspecified and IBS. My primary took one look at my swollen left leg and performed a blood test that tested positive. I can't get an appointment with a Rheumotologist until May 25th. I am in so much pain.

you may need to do more than just gluten free...
have you looked at the guidelines to recovery with low inflammation eating plan.
daily soak in epsom salts will be providing up to 200mg of elemental magnesium. the daily requirement is about 350mg and more if you are deficient, you may want to investigate how to increase intake
how much Vit D3 are you taking?
