I totally agree with you, Vanessa! ReMag has dramatically changed things for me, and I'm not yet to the healing place I want to be. I also recognize that ReMag is the ONLY form of magnesium that appears to be impacting me at all. Being so mag deficient for so many years, and now with all the health issues, medications, intolerances, etc., I understand that it may be awhile of being in the "feeling worse before feeling better" stage for me as my body is working very hard finally to reverse this stubborn deficiency. I highly recommend ReMag. I also think it is extremely powerful, and the effects people experience from it are going to be unique (and possibly very powerful also) to their own state of overall health.
When I mentioned earlier about a sore throat possibly indicating an intolerance or allergy, I hadn't any specific thing in mind ... just that it could be an indicator of an intolerance or allergy to a food, substance, environmental influence, pollen, interaction ... endless possibilities. I haven't read anything from a single member here who hasn't had to seriously become a detective to uncover what it is we need to avoid, how much of something is good for us, and the list goes on.
I too sip ReMag through a straw, and make sure to put plenty of sea salt in each glass of water. I've also used ReMag topically when I have severe back pain, or foot/calf muscle cramping. Additionally, I recommend Dr. Dean's book "The Magnesium Miracle", which I purchased when starting ReMag. The next Dr. Dean product I'll be adding will be the ReAline, which should help with the de-toxification process and hopefully strengthen the immune system (plus I'm hoping it may also help minimize withdrawal symptoms as I slowly wean off my anti-anxiety med knowing now that magnesium will likely better manage depression/anxiety symptoms than any medication).
Here's an interesting question ... we all know what it's like to feel very ill. What do you suppose it feels like when we are actually healing (such as healing our damaged intestines, digestive tract, boosting immune system, healing neuro symptoms, de-toxifying heavy metals and other toxins, reversing deficiencies, getting various systems in the body working effectively again)? I don't have the answer ... just thought I'd pose the question.

for me it is a constant process of 2 steps forward, 1 step back.
there are small improvements, and then as detox happens i feel like shite...
I am 2 years into trying to reduce toxic levels of copper, cadmium due to long term zinc deficiency. i have reduced the toxic metals a bit but the process is slow, and I probably have another 3 years of this journey...
I had great improvements when I improved the magnesium deficiency, and saw further improvements when I reduced my overall toxic load and made lifestyle changes that reduced stress. I am only well enough to work about 20-25 hours per week
I live semi rural on a farm, farmland that does not use chemicals/fertilisers, tank water (no fluoride or other chemicals), no mobile phone range, minimal powerlines, circuit box is on a pole away from residence,, mould free house, I do not dye my hair, i use the most natural personal products I can, I only go into air conditioned places once a fortnight etc etc.
For me, MC is a symptom of bigger issues, my life now is poles apart from what it was 10 years ago. It has been a huge journey mentally and emotionally to grieve what was and be ok with what is now. Making changes and sacrifices, embracing new beliefs and values etc
its a tough gig, i wont lie, albeit I am peace that i am doing the best that i can, progress not perfection

I started on ReMag to day, (very small amount) maybe 1/4 capfull in a pint of water. I am finding that it has a salty taste. (I didn't add any sea salt to my water- which you are advised to do) Has anyone else tasted this too.

Hi Rose, I tend to taste a bit of a salt flavor if I add more than what my body is used to.
I think all is well as long as you can tolerate to drink it. I add a little sea salt at times too
Cheers

Rose,
If your doctors only realized that a chronic magnesium deficiency is very likely the cause of every one of the diseases (actually they are symptoms) that you have listed in your tag line, they would suggest trying IV magnesium infusions.
The medical community describes all of those items as diseases (and they make a very good living treating them as if they were diseases), but every one of those items is a symptom of magnesium deficiency. I can supply published medical references for any or all of them, if you need references to convince your blind/lost doctors.

if the salt taste is too uncomfortable, maybe use the ReMag and topical magnesium.
Do you have any amalgams filling? liquid type magnesiums can lead to weird taste.
Agree with Tex that magnesium deficiency is a key part of many of your health issues so having a highly absorbable good quality magnesium is worth the effort
I notice that you mention bipolar in your tag line - have you ever been tested for Pyrrole?

Hi Rose,
I had some contrast when first starting the ReMag. I went slow and stayed very consistent. I didn't have a choice as my symptoms were not tolerable or conducive to any sort of life I wanted to be living. Keep at it, and go even slower if things pop up....my mother started with literally 3 drops in her water. After almost a year, she is on 3/4 of a teaspoon. She is very toxic( on a lot of meds), but has already gotten rid of 2 out of 3 BP meds she was taking.

update on my use of ReMag
It has been quite a long time since I last posted @ Remag. I have since purchased Dr. Carolyn Dean's Total Completement Program for Total Body Melt Down. In the beginning I put the ReMag in a spray bottle and used it in that form transdermally. I later switched to orally with a little Himalayan sea salt.
I am happy to say that I am up to 1 1/2 tsp. ReMag and 3/4 tsp ReMyte. ReMyte will help my thyroid to receive what it needs to function properly. I am very excited about this program and all the testimonials about it. I listen to her 2 hour radio program on Mon. nights or the taped versions of it. It is even on you tube. I encourage people to check in to some of her you tube videos. She is the author of a book entitled The Magnesium Miracle which I purchased. I am hopeful that this will heal my toxic body and realize that it will take some time for me to feel the effects because I have been on so many medications for so many years. I was started on Synthroid 36 years ago. I have decided to become an advocate for my own health and have researched many items online. I am hoping my physician who is a DO. will work with me to slowly remove some of my meds, when my body is ready for it or I will have to find another md or naturopath.
I plan to get a RBC Mag level drawn soon, even though Dr Dean said it is not really necessary because your body will tell you when you have become saturated with Magnesium. I want to know my numbers however because I am probalbly severely deficient in magnesium.
I will keep in touch.

Thanks for the update Rosemarie
I first read The Magnesium Miracle book coming up to 3 years ago - shared info from the chapters as posts here on the forum and it was probably the starting point of many here giving serious consideration to magnesium and the benefits it can provide

I have been using Remag and Remyte since 9/16 and recently have notice zero anxiety. My anxiety was so bad the last couple of years that almost all my favorite TV shows were to much for me. I've never experienced anxiety before this! I recently received a celiac diagnosis which I think was a big part even though I gave up gains about three years ago. I'm taking about 3/4 cap full daily and sometimes dr best before bed if I don't take a mag bath. I can now watch something other than hgtv(husband hates) but I really don't care to watch tv anymore.
