Has anyone tried DiaResQ?

Here's what the manufacturer say about it...

"DiaResQ is a different kind of product because it is not a drug or antibiotic; it's a food that provides nutrients for people with diarrhea

Effectively reaches the intestinal tract and rapidly restores normal function while providing important nutrients.

DiaResQ can be taken with prebiotics and probiotics.

An essential product for the most predictable travel related illnesses - diarrhea. At-risk destinations include the Caribbean and Mexico

DiaResQ is the standard of care for traveler's diarrhea recommended by Passport Health Clinics nationwide."

I've never heard of that one, but in the real world most conventional cures or treatments are worthless for treating MC.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

a quick look at the ingredients of the DiaResQ is that its main ingredients are egg and dairy, both very common triggers for MC'ers.
it also has sucralose, and artificial sugars are also a big issue for MC'ers

it is good that you are researching and looking for solutions - I can assure you that after almost 12 years of this forum being in place, many many products, ingredients, herbs, medications have been tried by many people. the suggestions made in the guidelines to recovery seem out there, but they work. if there is anything that will help you heal from MC it will be included in that section.

Great. Thanks. I'm following the guidelines :) This one just popped up at work (apparently one of our clients) so I thought I'd ask about it.

Welcome to the forum. If you don't already have Tex's book (upper right hand corner it is well worth the purchase.)

from their website:
Q: What is DiaResQ® not intended for?

A: DiaResQ® is not intended to address chronic diarrhea, or diarrhea due to the overindulgence in food or alcohol. It is also not intended to address heartburn, gas, or upset stomach.

We have what you would call chronic diarrhea (inflammatory bowel disease.)

This is cheap enough to try. At $13.99 per three count packet it is not exorbitant but like Gabes and Tex say don't hold your breath about it doing anything. At least the company is upfront on their website that it is not meant to treat chronic diarrhea.
