MOMSTER~~~~

Post by barbaranoela »

Hiya Irene----
As U, I luve the ice skating but it was such a disaster --

I know U had to have watched it and how sad it was to see all the falls that these couples had~~

Did U like that showing??? I thought the costumes were horrid (Xcept for the one that looked like a bundle of cotton) and I didnt like the dances they had to do--

I luved the good old days of the Olympics----we would sit glued to the *tube*

I think with all the new 38 competitions they threw in --to me---some of it was boring---

Cant wait for the singles to skate---Tuesday,is it???

Hope U R feeling better and U are another one to *praise*--keeping up with your crafts even tho U feel terrible many times~~~
Stay well
luve,Barbara

Hi Barbara

Post by Momster »

Yes, I did watch the skating last night and am upset about how they show it now, a bit here and a bit there. Means I have to watch all evening and John is trying to be patient, but he said today he'll be glad when it's finished.
The Dance finished tonight - I was sorry to see the best Canadian team have their fall, but glad she didn't break any bones. It means they're out of this competition and I wonder if they'll be alright for the World competition in March. I agree with you about the costumes. Not too impressive. I miss the old days like you, but still love figure skating.
John got me a ticket for an ice show for the beginning of March and my sister is going with me. An early treat for my birthday. Some of my favorites are going to be there including Kurt Browning who really puts on a good show.
The women's single competition starts tomorrow night and I think the long program is on Thutsday, but not certain.
Then there is a gala on Sunday for the medal winners to show their stuff.

Well, I should go for now - still feeling very run down and had to go to bed this afternoon. You can see an update on me that I posted last night.

Take care - Momster
Do something nice for you today
