Hi,
Been busy, so I haven't checked in for a while. The D has been completely gone for 4 months now without medication after quitting all of gluten, coffee, tea and aspertame.
I found this today, and think some of you will be interested: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5108976/
The article confirms the high correlation between Microscopic colitis and Marsh 1/Microscopic enteritis.
Enjoy!

NB: I hope your're on the mend, Tex.

Tor,
Yes, that's an excellent article. And yes I'm much better now than I was a few weeks ago.
Many thanks for the link.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
We have a 'type' named after our MC diagnosis!
type I Marsh-Oberhuber
How incredibly exciting is that!!
Everyone needs to read this new article....it almost made me want to cry that what we are all dealing with may finally have some documentation that is concrete for doctors to actually believe us about.
Not saying that diet has been included to helping this newly named 'type' that we all have. It is a beginning in a world surrounded by mystery to our mainstream doctors though and for that I could do a happy dance
This is small but so huge too....
