Will be in Chicago for a few days

Hi All,

Just a note to let you know that I'll be in Chicago for a few days. My Mom is having her carotid artery cleaned out today, a 23 hour hospital stay. I'll stay with her until she doesn't need me, or she drives me crazy, which ever comes first.

I think I'll check on her food cabinets and get rid of any high cholesterol foods, again. Like that will change her eating habits, LOL.

I also wanted to say I have a white capped pionus, like the one you rescued. (can't remember her name) How is she doing? She is sooo cute!!
