Deb,

I can't follow the numbers in your post, they don't make sense, but 1/2 grain of Armour Thyroid is 30 mg, not 15.

Deb,

If you haven't already ditched the Cholestyramine, regarding the dose, as Erica suggested, why not take 1 scoop near bedtime, rather than dividing? Most people are able to take a scoop at one time. Taking it once, the time it is interfering with supplement and med absorption is less.

Hope you are doing better soon, and enjoy the wedding!

Geez, yup I re-read what I wrote and it doesn't make sense. The prescription is to increase by a half grain (that's the part I messed up on thinking a quarter and writing a half). I currently take 120 mg and thought bumping it up 15mg might be a good place to start. The prescription has me increasing by 30 mg which could be too much but maybe not. I weigh 140 pounds.

I am still taking the cholestyramine and do take the full scoop at night. Not noticing a big change from a half to a whole scoop. I still have D, now it's just 4-5 times a day so I'm not that thrilled with the results but don't want to give up too soon.
