Happy Memorial Day

Post by starfire »

As we remember those who have given their lives in the armed services as well as those friends and loved ones who have passed on before us, I pray that our lives will count for something good as we draw closer to our time. Remember your people and rejoice that they were in your lives, remember good times you shared.

I hope we all have a good Memorial Day weekend.

Thank you and the same to you! We are fortunate to live near a National Cemetery which we will visit tomorrow. The entranceway will be lined with large American flags and there is a field of smaller American flags. It is breathtaking!

There was a retired CW4 in dress uniform walking around with a trumpet. She played Taps at my dad's gravesite. It was awesome!
