the conversation in Hockeymum's post got me thinking about your situation and that your current ongoing flare was triggered by restaurant meal.
there are multiple reasons why MC'ers have ongoing issues. the symptoms you describe I am wondering if there is bacteria and/or parasite issues occurring, and that is why despite the bland eating plan you are struggling to get improvement.
Is it worth doing a poop sample via your doctor and getting it checked for bacteria / parasite?

Thank you. I already did all those tests after my first visit to my G.I. doctor after this flare. I did a massive panel and everything came back normal. I know this happened because I ate a restaurant meal with tons of butter fat and cream and Keylime pie. I never eat that way and if I do have a bite of pi it sharing it with someone and having a few bites after eating a bland lower fat meal. After adding very small amounts of very steamed carrots to my diet the motility issue is clearing up and having formed BMs, but experiencing a lot of burping and gas in my stomach and elsewhere after eating. It's normal for me to have some burping after eating but not as much and as frequently as this. My system is irritated after going through what it did the first few weeks of May. I see small improvements where I'm less miserable than before but my energy level is not where I want it to be. I know the motility issue of eating way more rice than I've ever had consecutively caused a lot of the nausea, gas and added to the burping. I was afraid of the severe diarrhea coming back so I was on rice 3x's a day for too long.
I have peppermint candies that only have sugar in them and thank God they are helping me after meals where I feel nausea but the nausea is decreasing with better motility. Is there any chewing gum out there that only has peppermint and sugar in it? No artificial sweeteners. Peppermint or cinnamon gum in the past always made me feel better after eating but I want to avoid artificial sweeteners now.
