Hi Sonja,
Along with your Multivitamin you can add a 50mg, B6 and be just fine as a maintenance dose.
I take 50mg daily and when I feel extra mucus during the day I will take another 50mg that day.
If I run into any more histamine issue I will be sure to take a good dose of B6 P5P active form maybe even up to 200mg a day for a few days in a row if needed to get my system to calm down due to histamine. It is safe to take up to 300-400mg a day for a few days if needed, but I have not had to get to that point.
So far I am still doing well with the 50mg B6 protocol for my histamine issues, it has been at least 4 months now I think.
testing paprika and beans?

Thank you Polly, Gabes and Tex,
I found the B6 (p5p), I think it is a good one. Solgar, without any allergens and 50 mg.
Tomorrow I have an appointment with my doctor (antroposofic and specialized in food) and I'll talk with him about the B12. maybe it is possible to get it sublingual, but I don't think so because my level is within the range for the Netherlands.
I find it so difficult to find out if histamine is the problem or not. Last year I reacted very bad on dried apricots (biological without sulfite), while I can eat the fresh ones without problems.
I didn't understand it, but now I think its because of the drying proces that increases the histamine as Tex explained. That would make sense!
Thank you again.
