Does anyone try to eat PREBIOTIC foods? How are they tolerated? They must be good for gut health.
Recently I found some sauerkraut that has only fermented cabbage, salt, caraway, and juniper berries (?), no sulphites or wine. It's from Austria. I've never eaten sauerkraut in my life but I decided to try it. So far I'm tolerating it well and it tastes fine.
There are other prebiotics like kombucha, kimchi, kefir that are new to me. Raw garlic and onions I can't tolerate.
Anyone have any experience with them?

I was able to eat sauerkraut when I was recovering. I think the brand name was Bubbies. Never tried you others you named.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
