2nd Eye Surgery Successful

Post by jlbattin »

I had my right eye macular hole surgery last Thursday. I went back to the doctor this morning and he told me my eye looked great and the hole had closed. I still have about another week or so of no/minimal activity and facedown time until my gas bubble is gone...........

This surgery was so much easier. The anesthesiologist gave me a patch behind my ear and also something in my IV to keep the nausea at bay and it worked.......I didn't get sick.

I haven't had much issues with my gut either, but I am eating very simply right now.

Anyway, thanks for all the well wishes and prayers. This will very soon be in my rear view mirror also!
