Scorpions!

Post by annie oakley »

Well I was cleaning my closet out trying to find some work search clothes and I glanced down at the counter and saw a scorpion strolling along like he owned the place..... He saw me and his tail went up, The part with the stinger on it. So being someone that has been stung...I emediatly let out some sort of language I don't know and :Itchscratch: that scorpion. There was very little left to dispose of. I have be stung and it hurts badly...not to mention that I am allergic. SO I got the closet cleaned after I went outside and took several deep breaths. Love Oma

I've never seen a real scorpion, except for on TV. I'd kinda like to keep it that way, you know?

Deep breathes, Oma!

We all must sound like girls I think. Never seen a scorpion & I have no ambition to either. Lucky it didn't get you Oma. Take care.

Hi Oma,

Do you get bark scorpions, like we have here? They are small and kind of transparent white/grey, and they're the only scorpions that kill people. (If you're small or allergic; otherwise it's like a bad bee sting) Did you know they glow in the dark if you shine a black light on them? My husband put little wads of toilet paper on the floor while I was sleeping once, and then said "Scorpions!!!" I leaped up and almost had a heart attack, because all I could see was little blobs on the floor until I looked closer. He cracks himself up . . .

Artteacher....the ones we get around my part of the country are about as you discribe. And I am allergic. I got stung once in the bed...apparently I moved him off my neck in my sleep. He barely touch me and my neck was on fire. I went to the bathroom to look where he stung and he was running circles around my shoulders. I screamed and Mike came runnig in there...said I talking in another langauge...Imadgine that huh? Love Oma
