thank-you Tex for the wonderful wishes I am grateful for each birthday and will celebrate with family and friends to the fullest I can of course, Mc safe foods and enjoy every minute. It is not about what I can't eat but what I can and of course the company I keep..I am smiling

Thank-you Erica, I am wearing my invisible crown and that never lets me get down around the foods I can no longer eat.. I know I have so many wonderful foods that make me feel amazing inside that is much more important than foods of old.. past is past and future is here for me to create and I intend to do that to the best of my ablility with my choices... Happy Days to you too.. Love life and it will love you back... xoxo I will eat my favourite and safe avocado with a candle on top enough to make a wish that is all I need but I am not telling my wish Ha! take care

thank-you Marcia and Janie for thinking of me :-) I had a great day, you are so right Marcia the gluten filled cake is not what I would call a "Happy Birthday " for me anymore, there wasn't a cake at all, my hubbie made an oatmeal pie for everyone else ( I don't eat grains) and I ate, my safe gluten free coconut cookie stuck a candle in it and instant birthday cake for one ( it is about one person is it not ) Ha! the numbers or the size of the cake don't matter anymore, all my family knows my age anyway,,Ha! I am proud of it , being alive to celebrate another birthday, I loss my dear cousin last fall just after her 76th birthday I see no reason to feel badly about being a year older it is another year I have had memories and joyful times with my family and friends it is so uplifting. no wonder we celebrate birthdays Ha! I am still wearing my invisible crown today too, I love how it makes me feel that I can be in the world just as I am eating how I know my body feels the best and looks from others , well they aren't looking at me, they are looking at my invisble crown sparkling and want one of their own... Ha! Love life it will love you back.. take care and hope everyone is having a great day. All the best
