Wow.... just read the whole thing - pretty restrictive but very happy it's working for you! Reading that was very educational and even though I don't think I can attempt that right now (I gave up gluten two days ago and need to focus on that first, baby steps) I did take a lot away from reading that. Thanks for sharing.

Diagnosed November 2004, Used Asacol and Lialda, sometimes worked, sometimes made it worse. Entocort always works but hate it. Remission only lasts 3-6 months and then back on Entocort. Enterolab test July 2017, now gluten free. Time will tell!

Thanks Jessica, I will check it out. Thank you for sharing. I am glad you found something that works for you. I hope to find what works for me. It seems so random right now. Sometimes I can eat something and be fine, but eat it next time and hurt like crazy. Even if i just drink water early in the day, I can get D and pain by early afternoon. I am doing the regular paleo diet now, but going to look into the link you shared as soon as I submit this.

Welcome, Joleen. You've come to the right place.

Now 7 months into LC, the State One Diet (on this site), avoiding my gluten, dairy, egg and soy sensitivities along with increasing magnesium and Vitamin D3 have helped tremendously. I made a lot of bone broth in the first 3-4 months and had some daily.

I just took my out of town trip and it was actually easy. There is light at the end of the tunnel!
