Question about creamers

Hi all. I was wondering since most coffee creamers are non-dairy are they safe for us? Thanks😃

Not necessarily. Believe it or not, many/most coffee creamers that are labeled non-dairy, are apparently made for lactose-free individuals. They're not really non-dairy. They still contain various derivatives of casein, which is the main protein in milk that causes many of us to react. You will have to read the label carefully to see if it contains some derivative of casein. Most of us just avoid this problem by using coconut milk, almond milk, or some other substitute for cow's milk; or by using sugar or drinking our coffee without adding anything.

OK, thanks Tex. I have been using the almond milk creamers or coconut milk and a little agave in it. But times like today when I was out running errands, I was so weak and tired, I just wanted to stop at a gas station and get some coffee. I love coffee but I can't drink it black. 😛 I can't wait till my body is done detoxing and having withdrawals.
