back from Florida
Hi all,
Have been in Florida for 2 weeks. It was wonderful. Fla. has great state parks and it was sure fun to be camping in February! Yea, retirement.
Now we're back in Atlanta amazed at the changes in our Granddaughter in just 2 weeks. She was 9 mnths old yesterday.
Have caught up a little bit on the news of the board. Hope things are going better for Kait. It seems she never gets a break for too long before her problems start up again. She is remarkable for her ability to bounce back--now she will have to do it again. Hang in there, Grandma Barb!
Also, good luck in town today, Oma. I loved the pictures of your afghans.
Hope your arthritis pains are subsiding, Momster. I read an article that the ony thing that really seemed to help osteo-arthritis sufferers was Celebrex. All that glucosomine we take apparently gets the same result as the placebo in the study. Oh well, I'm going to take it til I run out of pills anyway.
Oops gotta go, baby is crying.

Glad you're home We have missed you. My arthritis hurts and since I have run out of mY Feledene (cousin to Mobic) I am taking aleeve. It helps some, not as good as the Feldene, but insurance ran out. I can handle the aleeve for now. How was the trip? Did you have a Great time? Love Oma
May I be more compassionate and loving than yeterday*and be able to spot the idiots in advance
It was a good trip, Oma. We got some "lifers', the snail kite, which lives in the Everglades and only eats apple snails, the monk parakeet, and the common myna. Looked for several others but couldn't find them. Also didn't see any manatees. Guess that means we'll have to go back.
Will head home from son's house on Monday. Probably by the time we see our granddaughter next she'll be walking. She does that "drunken sailor" walk now, where you hold her hands and she makes forward progress by kicking out her legs and wobbling on her tippy toes.
