What next??
As if I didn't have enough on my mind - LOL - This morning I got the stitches removed from my face (jawline) where Dr. had removed a small growth that formed rather quickly. Got the lab results and it was a squamous cell cancer. Lab says she got it all (I had told her to be generous when she was cutting - I didn't want to do it again). They found nothing in the margins of her cut. I'm not really upset or overly concerned. Just another aggravation to tolerate. However, I'll probably be running to the doctor if I get a pimple.

Yep, that's one of the side effects of gettin' older. I'm glad you caught it quickly, and the margins looked clear at the lab.
I'm always concerned about new bumps, especially bumps that never heal, but they don't seem to concern my doctor. It's hard to judge whether they're a consequence of MC, gettin' older, or something more ominous.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Glad the margins were clear! I just had a weird looking pimple on my elbow and my immediate thought was "what is the LC causing now?" My dad & sister both had melanoma so I try to protect my Irish skin as much as possible while trying to catch some healing Vitamin D. I hope there isn't any more "what next" for you!

At least it was good news....but it does seem sometimes that things can pile up on us, doesn't it? And it. Gets old to be continually challenged by life...but ...such is life...

Yes, it actually was good news and I'm very grateful for that. Even good news can be stressful but I should be used to that by now.
I'm so happy to see that the board hasn't changed as far as being helpful and supportive. This really is a great place and I am very happy to have been a part of it.
