Thank you for welcoming me so graciously to this group. I posted last week about my recent flare, which has now become considerably worse. I am facing a few things that I'm not sure about:
1) My BMs occur almost immediately upon ingesting any liquids or food and are pure liquid now and I am extremely gassy
2) The odour is unlike anything I have ever experienced making me certain I must have ingested a dead ferret in my sleep or something
3) My eyelids are swollen and my low back is very sore. I've had the low back issue before, from the colon swelling I assume, but the swelling of the eyelids is new.
If you can offer any guidance, insight or advice on how to make this stop I would greatly appreciate it! I have lost a total of 65lbs since this started last October and can't really afford to lose anymore....although it is pretty cool being able to wear the same size I wore in high school....too bad I had to get there by almost pooping to death!

You are having histamine reactions. Unlike the IgA-based reactions that most of us usually have, you're having IgE-based reactions because you're actually allergic to something that you're ingesting. You need to cut whatever it is out of your diet ASAP because it could turn into anaphylaxis at any time. If it occurs with any food or liquid it may be the Cymbalta.

Yes, it's an SNRI (SNRIs are known to cause MC), but that has nothing to do with allergies to a product. We can easily develop allergies to medications after using them for a long time. When I was young, I always used Scope mouthwash every morning. One day, after using it for many years with no problems, I discovered that I was suddenly allergic to it. It felt as though my mouth was on fire when I used it. When I looked in the mirror, I could see that my mouth was now red and inflamed. I never used it again, and of course the inflammation in my mouth cleared up by the next day.
