Suggested Enterolab tests?

Post by KenG »

Hi,

I've been doing quite well since dropping milk and taking an antihistamine (fexofenadine). But today, new work day, perhaps I'm a bit stressed but have had a really bad day with gut pain and frequent D.

Tex and others, can you please comment on which of the Enterolab tests you recommend? The one titled Panel A1 + C1 perhaps? I note that it doesn't seem to test for peanuts and I seem to have no problem since I consume a lot of peanut butter.

Thank you,

Ken

Hi Ken,

Yes, those are the tests that most members choose. Peanuts are a legume and for most people, if they/you are sensitive to soy, they/you will also be sensitive to peanuts and most legumes. If soy tests negative, peanuts should be OK.

You're very welcome. Sorry about the late response — I've been out running errands and mowing the lawn.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
