I betcha that this YOGA and TAI-CHI have helped me to work off my stress--
I get worked up but than I find myself gaining control and being somewhat rational over these issues--
Perhaps this was a very good year for me to be here---and for Carmen to drag me to these work-outs!!!
I am just realizing it------
Tomorrow its TaiChi---swish and sway---and let the *good* run into me--
NAMASTE!!!!!! what a wonderful word~~~~
Feeling back on the road--
Barbara

THOUGHT HIT ME
the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and self-control

I have found the same thing to be true. Stretching, Yoga and Chigong (similar toTaiChi) are a great way for me to relax and feel comfortable in my own body . Very meditative at the same time. Just the breathing exercises or paying attention to the breath melts body/ mind tension away. When my body is relaxed so is my mind........ or is it the other way around. LOL
I could go on and on about the wonders but won’t. I am aware of my own enthusiasm for it but have also found for many people it is just another thing to DO and since we all have so much to DO only adds another thing to stress about. In reality I have found it a great respite from all the doing, for a few moments of non doing. When my first priority is to be comfortable with myself and my body then I am more comfortable with work, friends and all the other challenges everyone of us faces as a human being, or should I say a human doing.
it is time to get reunited with yourself. How many of us actually take the time to do that ? If one is not comfortable with self than how can you be comfortable with anything or anybody else?
So glad that you have found, in all the chaos, an island of calm. Perhaps we will meet on that island someday.
My very best
