Thanks Martha, that is the frustrating part is that I've modified my diet starting in 2011. I struggled a lot in the beginning but I've been following a clean diet for years (GF, SF, DF, cannot eat eggs but tolerate them cooked in foods). I am missing something. I'd almost like to try the doxycycline again but it doesn't make a whole lot of sense because I can't take it forever. I didn't hear back from my GI yet. I feel lots better now that I am not take the other antibiotic. It was hard on the stomach and I was only able to take it for a couple days.

Good lesson in things can always be worse.
