No loss for me either

Post by Mars »

No weight loss for me this week but hanging steady! I have 5 more lbs to hit my first goal. I've set my own personal milestones but they might be too high - gotta re-evaluate them.

I did receive my exercise tapes this week but have been too sick to put thim in the DVD player - they don't help that way!! tee hee I ordered the "Walk away the pounds express" DVD. The first one is an easy walk = 1 mile and, brisk walk = 2 miles. The second DVD is Advanced walk = 3 miles. We shall see, maybe next week I'll feel more like at least checking them out.

Still quite dizzy and stuffed up - definately have a code in my node. Sound rather funny in the voice department too. I'm on my way to do some wedding shopping with Trisha. The plans don't stop even though mom don't feel good. We don't plan on being gone too long so I'll just come home and hit the bed.

The weather is beautiful today although it is quite windy with 20 mph winds. The sun is shinning and not a cloud in the sky. The temp is 40 degrees and Spring is on its way! I just can't wait!

I hope everyone is feeling better today! Seems like the cold/flu symptoms are pretty bad right now. Knowing my luck, I'll have spread the germs around the office and we'll have call offs for the next week. Sigh.

Take care everyone!

Love,
Mars

Mars, you have been sick. Don't be hard on yourself regarding weight loss. I am 5ft 3 1/2" Have lost 1/2 " and weigh 160. Way too much for my bad knee. I have however listened to you guys losing weight and it has inspired me to try and lose some. Love Oma

Mars Bar!

Are you feeling better? Hope so. Don't worry about the weight - it always plateaus at some times, even though you may be sticking closely to your diet. Let me know when you reach that first goal (only 5 more pounds!) and I'll supply the cyber-champagne!

Love,

Polly

Mars you must not worry about your weight loss at the moment. Just concentrate on getting well. I did not lose anything last week either & my doc said not to worry that sometimes happens. It will get going again, just wait & see. I have a tape too that is geared to 'Over 40's' Still the main thing is to get your heart rate up & that may not be what you need at the moment. Take care & get well.

Love
