Die off

Post by kizzy »

Good morning,
I have been having really anxious days these last 4 days together with bad balance issues and hot sweats. Do you know of any die off problems from taking more magnesium?
Thank you, Kizzy.

Kizzy,

That doesn't sound good. How much magnesium are you taking? Too much shouldn't cause those symptoms, but it might if your kidneys are not working up to par. Too much magnesium can cause the same symptoms as too little. That can cause a lot of confusion.

Maybe you have a virus. And dehydration can also cause those symptoms. Maybe you need to see a doctor in the ER for some tests.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Kizzy,

I had this experience when first starting ReMag. I had to go very slow with it and took six months to get up to 2 teaspoons throughout the day. I saw in another thread you were wondering about taking mag oil orally. It is not meant for oral consumption....

The reason the ReMag can "rev" you up is it is very highly absorbed at the cellular level. There are 800 enzyme systems that the body uses magnesium for, and when these get "woken up" you can feel a shift.....then they say hey! I need more of that. Thats what happened to me anyway. I stuck with it and thank god I did. Let us know what kind of mag made you feel this way and how your doing.

Also I had a detox reaction when I quit Gluten.....
