Cooking with wine on elimination diet

Post by charliemudcat »

I am a few days into the elimination diet and wonder if I can cook a chuck roast in wine with potatoes and carrots...

I know alcohol is not in the diet, but cooked maybe? Otherwise I will resign myself. It's an organic grass fed cut so should be good regardless since all I've eaten so far is chicken!

Thanks for all the prompt feedback. You are all very helpful!

Katie, I personally didn't have a problem with wine but some on here do. If you're good with everything else you could try it and see if you get any reaction. Deb
