magnesium spray
I have a quick question about magnesium spray. In addition to an epsom salts foot soak in the evening, I have been using a spray a few times a day. My question is, do I need to spray on a separate part of my body with each new spray? Or, will it continue to be absorbed if I spray it on the same patch of skin numerous times? Thanks a lot!
If you find that spraying on the same area results in irritation to the skin, moving to other areas may help. Otherwise it shouldn't matter. that's my experience with using transdermal patches. Someone who uses this method a lot may have a different answer.
The more tender areas (such as under forearms and inside thighs where the skin is thinner) may be able to absorb sprays faster than areas where the skin is thicker, but wherever works best for you should be fine. I think it will be absorbed virtually anywhere.
The skin has an epithelial layer suitable for absorption, similar to the gut. The main difference is that unlike the gut, it doesn't have a mucosal layer that secretes mucus.

If you are aiming to get good to high doses via spray alone (ie only topical no oral) then I do the following;
when I get up in the morning, spray neck/shoulders, arms, stomach, tops of legs when I get up in the morning. and don't have shower for 20 mins - after the shower I will spray neck and stomach
get home from work spray shoulders/neck, arms, stomach, legs (when I change from work clothes to 'relax' clothes)
if I wake through the night I will spray neck/shoulders.
I have also been doing an Epsom salt foot soak each morning
I have packed my magnesium oil into smaller spray packs and have them around the house, one in the bathroom, one near the computer, one by my bed, thatt way it prompts me to do it multiple times during the day.

as I live in Australia, I use different brands/products to those in the USA.
part of why I use the mag spray when I first get up and at night is that at that time I am in house clothes so there is no risk of an issue with it impacting clothing.
