Ya, it is good Gabes. Grocery shopped today, went to counseling session and went for 3 mile walk. Hope it continues. With my insurance there is no return to work this week....

I just wish I could do some sort of grain to add calories. Rice was 3+, havent had the guts to try quinoa or anything else again....used to eat alot of it a few years ago...

What really helps me (in addition to be gluten-free, dairy-free, etc) is a low-carb diet and saccharomyces boulardii. I use Jarrow brand, because it's not too expensive and always works for me (available on Amazon). Local drug stores are more likely to carry Florastor which is a reputable brand, but kind of expensive. You can look it up on Wikipedia if you're not familiar with it. I believe the low-carb diet and s. boulardii help by altering the population of bacteria (etc) in your intestines.

Hi Deb,

The bacteria in your gut lining is way out of whack......I don't know why I feel this way or what you feel comfortable trying in the way of feeding your gut good bugs but after reading everything here this is what sticks out the most for me.

I have been taking a Dr. Mercola 30 billion probiotic for a month now I haven't upped it to the 70 billion a day just yet, and have been watching the 'side effects' and I can see some progress but it is taking quite a while and lots of patience because I have to also regulate myself daily with antihistamine too. I'm not out of the woods with getting mysterious pressure wheals that appear out of freaking no where! So onward I go....but I am seeing the die off effects and the body trying to be more Norman than usual.

I really upset the apple cart by thinking Tuna didn't bother me anymore  my 6 oz can of that after three meals of it and the D returned to water proportions and got a head ache for the last two days  Today I feel much better and only took Tylenol for it and waited out the water D episode....good grief...needless to say no more tuna in the cupboard now.

I just wanted to give you a little thought to ponder. Not sure this will apply to you but, I had to go to a “whole health” doctor when all other conventional doc told me I would have to live with it! At this point this was 15 years before my LC dx. But I went to the doctor and she tested my “white blood cells” to see what they were fighting. Turns out I had microfermentins. To heal this I had to take a low dose of doxycycline for six months. I did not have to “live with it”. So you might have a whole separate issue that is aggravating your current condition. But conventional doctors wouldn’t search outside the box.

Hope this helps and gives you hope.
