If you have stuffiness, headaches, flushing, or D from any of these foods, you may be a candidate for sulfite sensitivity:
wine or beer
powdered drink mixes, Tang, Gaterade, Hawaiin Punch
sugar, corn syrup, maple syrup high fructose syrup
canned shrinp or seafood
fruit juices, especially lemon and lime juice
Marguerita mix (more than what you'd expect from Tequila )
gelatin
shredded coconut
soy protein products
dried fruits, trail mix, filled crackers like Fig Newtons
instant tea
yellow dye #5
multivitamins with B complex
potato chips, instant potatoes, but not fresh potatoes
guacamole
marachino cherries
condiments: olives, pickles, salad dressing mixes, wine vinegar, horseradish
sulfa drugs
corn products: cornstarch, modified food starch
sauerkrout
