Betaine HCL

I've been trying to be more observant with my stomach acid or lack thereof since that can complicate D. I took one betaine hcl pill yesterday with dinner and just now there it was floating as a complete pill in the toilet. How can I get it to help if it just goes through? I've had this happen before.

I use braggs ACV mostly in streaks. My dental hygenist asked if I used it when I had such extreme sensitivity at the last visit. I'm about six months behind now because my cleanings are so uncomfortable. Not due to poor hygene but because everything is overly sensitive in my mouth. I've been told I am causing damage because I brush to aggressively. She mentioned ACV can cause sensitivity.

I also just got a bottle of Doctors Choice betaine hcl with pepsin and bitters. It's powder in a clear capsule so maybe I will have better luck with that?

I found I have a polyp in my stomach when I had my endoscopy. There is no further follow up on that from my GI but I am concerned that I may create damage by doing things I think are helpful... I seem to have a long track record of that, haha.

Any suggestions?
