Taking over the counter cold meds gives me D?

Post by Barb1 »

If I take over the counter cold medications it gives me severe D, so I am not taking anything but I did try antihistamine but it doesn't help much, so it leaves me feeling miserable. What I have tried is Day Quil and Alka-Seltzer Plus, has anyone found anything they can take with out causing D?

Whats puzzling I used to be able to take it.

I would appreciate any help.

Thank you,
Barb

sadly in MC world, what worked 2 years ago may not work now...

best 'natural' options to support body in cold and flu season.
- increase Vit D3 intake (reduces inflammation, boosts immune system function)
- Zinc and Vit C also support immune system
- increase Magnesium and active B6 to help reduce mucus
- REST.

cold and flu tablets dont help the body heal, they just 'BLOCK' symptoms like runny nose etc so we can keep doing things.
in my opinion it is best not to block the process via meds, but let the body clear what it needs to.

Thank you,

I do take a lot of Vit D, but no C, Ill give that a try next time. I agree with you I don't like taking meds either, but sometimes you don't want to be out in public with out it :(
