Update: vegetarian diet

Post by Sheila »

Hi Everyone,

I haven’t posted for a while and have primarily been monitoring the MC Facebook page. I’m still in remission, and remain on a modified Paleo diet.

My youngest son has been struggling with MC for the past 3 years. He had Enterolab tests and was found to be gluten sensitive and he also has 2 celiac genes. He works long hours, doesn’t cook and is single. He has gluten slip ups now and then. This past summer he began experimenting with his diet and decided meat and eggs were causing D. He’s been on a vegetarian diet for about a month and has had NO D and feels 100% better. I haven’t noticed any other vegetarians on the Forum and guess he’s an anomaly. The biggest problem is weight loss. He’s 6’2” and extremely active physically.

So happy to be posting good news. Are there any other vegetarians on the Forum?
