Were you told you had a low white blood cell count near to being diagnosed with MC?

Yes, but then I re-tested normal on the follow up test.

Nobody has ever told me I had a low white blood cell count when giving me the results of any other, unrelated blood tests OR tests that were prompted by my complaints that seemed related to MC.

I am wondering how many people had (or recall having had) been told they had a low white blood cell count before being diagnosed?

I never had before, but my general practitioner called me back in for a re-draw of my blood, when I came back with a low white blood cell count after I showed up with all my complaints about major D for months on end. That wasn't what got me referred to the GI in the end, but initially they did call me to come back in for a redo on the white blood cell count. I've seen it mentioned a few times here now, so I'm wondering if that is common for us?

I didn't vote, because my WBC count was low when it was tested right after my colonoscopy and (non)diagnosis three months ago. My doctor didn't seem to be concerned about it and didn't mention any retesting. I assume it's still low.

My white count has generally been slightly elevated, not low.

I have a low white blood cell count.
This was tested 8 months after being diagnosed with LC.

Yes, I have low white blood count. I tested low a couple years before LC diagnosis, and again just prior to diagnosis. Doc never seemed concerned. I don't trust docs. :-(
