to get accurate results for minerals and vitamin blood tests, supplements should be stopped for at least 48 hours prior to test, for best results not having them for 5 days is the ideal.
Also keep in mind that test results for B Group vitamins include active and inactive forms in the test result. A high test result does not always equate that you have a high bioavailable amount of that B vitamin.
Any Keto people still here?

OK, wish the doc had told me that but the only reason I really went and had blood drawn was to check my TSH. If she's concerned about any of the other numbers I'll stop taking all supplements for a week and have more blood drawn.
I'm just thankful she didn't order cholesterol tests - I'm guessing that being only a month into keto my LDL is probably lousy in test results..... I think I read that it takes about 6 months for those to level off.

Diagnosed November 2004, Used Asacol and Lialda, sometimes worked, sometimes made it worse. Entocort always works but hate it. Remission only lasts 3-6 months and then back on Entocort. Enterolab test July 2017, now gluten free. Time will tell!
