Not a colitis subject..Help pls..
Hey all!
Long time no see hope you all doing great.
Unfortunatelly, my husband (age 46) was recently diagnosed with adenocarcinoma in his right lung.. he has quit smoking 12 years ago, he was exercising 2 hours/day and because of my problem(col.colitis) we had a really healthy daily diet. But...
The good thing was that although the tumor was 8 cm (!!) it was operatable and there was no metastasis in any other body organ. So we did the operation and we are in chemo-radiation phase right now.
I know that this subject has nothing to do with this forum.
But i found really great help here with my problem, reading everyone's stories and advices and Tex's book.
I short of hope that someone had an unfortunate similar story and that or a specific diet that helped him. I have read about alkaline diet but i dont really know if that will help somehow. I thought that if the right diet is the solution in my problem why wouldn't some other diet or food plan be for cancer too?
Sorry for my English everyone and sorry for using this forum for that. I just hope to find some help again.
Thank you all

Hi Aphrodite,
Be sure that he is getting a good dose of vitamin D (5,000 IU or more daily) and at least 400 mg of magnesium, preferably in the form of chelated magnesium (magnesium glycinate), because published research shows that magnesium deficiency and/or vitamin D deficiency are associated with every disease known.
Best of luck to both of you.
Love,
Tex

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
I found this book quite interesting, Aphrodite: https://www.amazon.com/Anticancer-David ... 47&sr=1-1.
I read this out of general interest and good reviews. What I liked about the book, was that the author backs his opinions and experiences with lots of state of the art research.
Best of luck!
