Jane in accident

Post by Liz »

Spent most of yesterday at the Nambour Hospital with daughter Jane & grand daughter Emily. Jane was on her way to work in Maroochydore, dropping Emily off to school on the way. Traffic was very heavy & was at a standstill when this car slammed into the back of her car. They both have whiplash but fortunately no fractures or other injuries. The car looks like it is a writeoff. Back stove right in & the boot & even the back doors can not be opened. Just what Jane needs at the moment I must say. As if she did not have enough troubles, what with her ex husband always carrying on like a pork chop & giving her a terrible time. He is so consumed with hate & anger that he does not care who gets hurt, even the children, as long as she suffers. Image
Emily called him on the way home from the hospital & told him what had happened but he did not seem overly concerned. You would have expected him to at least want to talk to Jane or even Robert or myself but he refuses to speak to her or any of her family. He is a real Richard Craniam.

Going to call her in a minute to see how they are this morning & we will probably go up.

Love

Liz

Hi all. Jane saw her doctor today & he has given her in injection for the pain & she is to stay off work for 2 weeks. Probably best that she does stay at home, not only to heal but she does not now have a car to get to work anyway. Hope the insurance gets things fixed up as soon as possible for her so that she can get mobile again. I think it will be a while before she is by the looks of things. She said it was like getting hit in the back of the head with a cricket bat. She has a neck brace & Emily has one also, poor little thing, although she is not as bad as Jane, thankfully.

Barb, Jane unfortunately is not a good man picker. Her first Michael, Nikki & Rob's father, was a trouble with a capital T although he is Ok now as long as he takes his medication.  He came to the hospital yesterday with Nikki to see how Jane was. She gets on Ok with him now. Her girl friend told her that she was a d..khead magnet. Don't think there is any hope for Wayne though. Sometimes I think that he has Bi Polar or something. Or it could be because of the steroids that he has taken for years for body building. He has always been strange. One minute he would ignore you, the next he greeted you like a long lost friend. He would go days without speaking to her, unless it was to scream at her & he once broke her arm. Didn't treat Nikki very well either & that was the last straw for Jane. Even when she left him she got a house close by so that he could still see the kids but eventually had to get away because he would break into her house when she wasn't there & he would creep around the house at night. She had an AVO out against him & on the advice of her solicitor she took off where he could not find her & the kids. He kept calling here all the time and being abusive & he has never forgiven her for the couple of months that he was not able to see the kids.

Well that finished up a novelette didn't it.

Love

Morning Liz,

So sorry to hear about Jane and Emily and I do hope their recovery is quick. Ex-husbands almost always seem to be Jerks and I can really sympathize with Jane re: vidictive ones.

Give them my best, Love, Maggie

Liz,

You are such a caring Mom! I hope Jane is able to really have a good, healing two weeks of rest so the whiplash problems subside fully!

Be well, Celia
