Hello -
I wanted to know if it is necessary to freeze the specimen if I'm going to send it out the same day - I am going to contact Enterolab this week to make sure but wanted an opinion anyway. On the instructions that were included in the box, it stated to freeze for 24 hours.
P.S. Thank you Jean!!!

Yes you need to freeze the specimen the required amount of time it says...if you just added to it then you can't send it for 24 hours after the fact which would be tomorrow at this time.
(I'm sure they don't want any accidents to happen in transit)

It needs to be frozen. I'm not sure it's an absolute requirement (to freeze for 24 hours) but unless you live close to Dallas, freezing overnight might not be enough to keep it frozen for the entire delivery cycle. With the kind of weather we're having now, it might be.
